latin: chapters 1-10
The following 10 chapters can be spread over as many lessons as you like. You can add craft activities, do all the exercises in class, do lots of dressing up and singing songs. Through the Swansea University Literacy through Classics scheme, pupils are taught this course in 10 hours, during which they learn about the basics of Latin grammar and connections with English. This is the lesson outline we use:

All the resources used by the pupils have been added into one brochure that you can give them at the start of the term. It has an empty 'word list' at the end so pupils can add their own vocabulary in Latin, with English (and Welsh) words.
